Each month I provide a short bio of one of the authors on the site. This month we will look at Kenneth Roberts
In 1928 he retired to Italy and began his Chronicles of Arundel, a series of novels pertaining to the American Revolution and the War of 1812. He became the most popular historical novelist of his day and in 1957 he received a Special Pulitzer Prize "for his historical novels which have long contributed to the creation of greater interest in our early American history." Some of his work is Historic Naval Fiction. |
