Dr. C. J. Skamarakas holds a master of arts in history from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a doctorate in history from The Catholic University of America. He is also a graduate of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. Dr. Skamarakas is retired, and presently lives near Washington, D.C.
