Charles D. Stanton is a retired U.S. naval officer/aviator with six personal awards for merit and a retired airline pilot (Northwest Airlines, now Delta). He followed up a lifelong passion for medieval history by matriculating at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge under the tutelage of Prof. David Abulafia.
He has a B.A., University of California at Riverside (1971); M.A., University of West Florida (1975); MPhil, University of Cambridge (2005) and DPhil, University of Cambridge (2008).
