Mark M. McMillin was born in Indiana, USA, in 1954 and has been a soldier (11th Armored Cavalry Regiment), businessman and corporate attorney. He has written three books about the little known but true exploits of Captain Luke Ryan - Irish smuggler, American patriot and Benjamin Franklin's most dangerous privateer during the American War of Independence
