Suzanne J. Stark (1926-2015) was an artist, writer and editor. She was born in Oregon and graduated from Berkeley, USA. Her artwork was exhibited in Paris, San Francisco, Amsterdam and New York but she is probably best remembered in historical circles for her authoritative book on women aboard warships in the Age of Sail.
