1756: Calcutta has been seized by the Nawab of Bengal, who has placed his British captives in the Black Hole. Kelso is still obsessed by Margaret Clive - and she still hates Kelso for encouraging her husband in his military undertakings. In spite of the presence of the Royal Navy and units of the British Army it is Kelso's intuition and initiative which enables the British to soundly defeat the errant Nawab and at the same time frustrate the French.
