The film Mutiny on the Bounty is a 1935 film. The third film on the subject it seems a much more polished affair than the first one ‘In the Wake of the Bounty'.
The film was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and starred Charles Laughton as William Bligh, Clark Gable as Fletcher Christian, Franchot Tone as Midshipman Byam, Mamo Clark as Maimiti, Donald Crisp as Burkitt and Byron Russell as Quintal. It was directed by Frank Lloyd with a screenplay by Talbot Jennings and Jules Furthman
