HMS Rodney

This image is of HMS Rodney, a two deck 90 gun ship of the line, launched in 1833 at Pembroke Dockyard. She saw active service in the Mediterranean Sea and also in the Black Sea during the Crimean War.

Rodney was then converted to steam screw propulsion in 1860 before then serving in China as the flagship of Vice-Admiral Henry Keppel. She was the last unarmoured wooden battleship in full commission and was broken up in 1882.
