Fiction

Sword of State: The Forging

Richard Woodman is the well known author of the naval fiction series about Nathaniel Drinkwater and more recently of a series set during the English Civil War about Kit Faulkner. Now he has just released the first book in a new trilogy, Sword of State: The Forging.

Other Nautical Fiction

 Storm Warning

Nick Korolev has a new book which was recently released worldwide, Storm Warning. It is available in paperback and ebook versions.

Paradise

G. L. Tysk recently released a sequel to her whaling fiction novel based around native Hawaiian characters. Paradise is now available worldwide in paperback and for kindle download.

Cuckold Point

For those following the related series about a Thames river policeman in Napoleonic times, Patrick Easter's latest book, Cuckold Point, will we realeased in hardcover in the Uk on 2 April 2015. It will also be available for kindle download for overseas readers.

Kenneth RobertsKenneth Lewis Roberts (1885-1957) was born in Kennebunk, Maine. He was educated at Cornell University and from 1909 to 1917, he was a reporter and columnist for the Boston Post. After serving in World War I, he became well known as a roving correspondent for the Saturday Evening Post, writing on conditions in Europe, the Orient, and the United States.

In 1928 he retired to Italy and began his Chronicles of Arundel, a series of novels pertaining to the American Revolution and the War of 1812. He became the most popular historical novelist of his day and in 1957 he received a Special Pulitzer Prize "for his historical novels which have long contributed to the creation of greater interest in our early American history." Some of his work is Historic Naval Fiction.

Action This Day

Naval historian Richard Freeman who has written a number of non-fiction works has started a naval fiction series. The second book in the Commander Steadfast Thrillers, Action this Day, is now available for kindle download worldwide.
