Richard Woodman is the well known author of the naval fiction series about Nathaniel Drinkwater and more recently of a series set during the English Civil War about Kit Faulkner. Now he has just released the first book in a new trilogy, Sword of State: The Forging. |

Nick Korolev has a new book which was recently released worldwide, Storm Warning. It is available in paperback and ebook versions. |

G. L. Tysk recently released a sequel to her whaling fiction novel based around native Hawaiian characters. Paradise is now available worldwide in paperback and for kindle download. |

For those following the related series about a Thames river policeman in Napoleonic times, Patrick Easter's latest book, Cuckold Point, will we realeased in hardcover in the Uk on 2 April 2015. It will also be available for kindle download for overseas readers. |

Each month I provide a short bio of one of the authors on the site. This month we will look at {joomlacontent:1663|type:title|link} Kenneth Lewis Roberts (1885-1957) was born in Kennebunk, Maine. He was educated at Cornell University and from 1909 to 1917, he was a reporter and columnist for the Boston Post. After serving in World War I, he became well known as a roving correspondent for the Saturday Evening Post, writing on conditions in Europe, the Orient, and the United States. In 1928 he retired to Italy and began his Chronicles of Arundel, a series of novels pertaining to the American Revolution and the War of 1812. He became the most popular historical novelist of his day and in 1957 he received a Special Pulitzer Prize "for his historical novels which have long contributed to the creation of greater interest in our early American history." Some of his work is Historic Naval Fiction. |
