Mark Lardas has a new book which is available for pre-order in paperback, Great Lakes Warships 1812-1815. It will be released wordlwide on 20 March 2012.

Each month I provide a short bio of one of the authors on the site. This month we will look at Edwin P. Hoyt

Edwin Palmer Hoyt has written many novels and factual accounts of events in American history, many set in the second world war. He also wrote a series of three novels about American naval hero Stephen Decatur set during the war against the Barbary Pirates - Hellfire in Tripoli, Against Cold Steel, Decatur's Revenge.
