Tim Nuttal and his brother Alistair are cadets at the training school HMS Harlech. Their father served with the Royal Navy in spite of the fact that they are citizens of the South American Republic of San Ignacio.The entire family are sailing home to San Ignacio in their ketch Mantlet. During the voyage there are encounters with an underwater volcano, sea serpentsand a hurricane. |
