Ocean Haul

Adam and some of his corps are sent to recover a sea-going tug called the Ariadne from the mutineers who have taken command and sailed her south of Cape Horn to a remote rocky islet then on to Antarctica. After taking it over Adam's troubles are seen to be only just beginning as he faces extraordinarily bad weather, further mutinies and danger from a massive drifting derelict.
