Life aboard HMS Antigone, a Leander Class light cruiser with four twin six inch guns. From the end of the ships construction in Belfast the ship and crew are sent to the Bermuda and West Indies Station. As the world races toward war the Antigone sails around South America showing the flag. When war finally comes the ship is stripped for battle and ends up in the Mediterranean. |
